Delete your account
Two ways to do it
If you still have the app, that is the fastest route. Open NegosyoKlaro and go to Settings → Delete account. It takes effect straight away, and it also wipes the business records stored on that phone.
If you cannot or would rather not open the app — you changed phones, uninstalled it, or simply prefer not to — email us and we will do it for you. You do not need to reinstall anything.
What to include
We need enough to find the right account and to be sure the request is really coming from its owner. Please include:
- The email address your NegosyoKlaro account usesSend the request FROM that address if you still have it. This is how we find the account.
- Your store name, and its city or provinceBoth appear in the app under Settings → Store profile.
- The owner name on the accountShown in the app under Settings → Account.
- Roughly when you started using the appThe month and year is enough.
- Which phone you use it oniPhone or Android — it tells us which cancellation steps to send you.
- The sentence "I want my NegosyoKlaro account deleted"In your own words is fine. We just need your intent to be unambiguous.
Please do not send a password, a one-time code, a PIN, a card number, or a photo of an ID. We never need any of them, and we will never ask you for them.
How we check that it is you
Deleting an account cannot be undone, so we do not act on an email address alone — knowing an address is not the same as owning the account it belongs to. We use the address to look the account up, and then confirm you control it:
- We send a one-time confirmation to the email address registered on the account — not to whatever address the request arrived from.
- You reply to that confirmation from the registered address. Until you do, nothing is deleted.
- The confirmation expires. If it lapses, the request is closed and you can start again.
If the request reaches us from a different address, we will not tell the sender whether the account exists — we simply reply explaining that the confirmation has to be answered from the registered address. That is deliberate: it stops this page being used to find out who has an account.
If you have lost access to the registered mailbox, say so in your message. We will tell you what else we can accept. We may have to decline a request we cannot tie to the account owner, and we would rather refuse a genuine request than delete a stranger's business records.
What happens next
We aim to acknowledge your request within five business days and to complete a confirmed deletion within 30 days of confirming it is you. These are the targets we work to, not a guarantee — the Terms of Use do not promise a support response time.
We will email you once the deletion is done. If anything blocks it, we will tell you what and why rather than leaving the request open in silence.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account removes, from our servers:
- Your sign-in account and your profile
- Your store record and the claim that links that store to you
- The referral attribution and referral-claim records tied to that store, if you entered a sales partner's code
- Any first-year referral discount benefit and offer-code allocation recorded for that store
- Your current subscription and trial status held on our servers
- Your Smart Resibo scan records — the counters and one-way fingerprints we keep to meter the feature
- Your Cloud Backup, if you made one — every backup copy of your store's records and the operational records about it
The records on your phone are a separate thing. NegosyoKlaro keeps your sales, inventory, customers, utang and cash records in the app on your device — so we cannot reach them, and a request to us does not erase them. Deleting from inside the app wipes them as part of the same action; if you delete by email instead, remove the app from your phone to clear them. Either way they are gone for good, and we cannot recover them for you. Your Cloud Backup, if you made one, is different: it is on our servers, and it is deleted with your account.
What we keep, and why
We are not able to promise that every historical record about an account disappears. A small number are deliberately kept, because deleting them would erase money owed to somebody else, or would let a closed account be used to claim a one-time benefit twice. What stays is:
- Partner-programme accountingIf a sales partner introduced your store, the record of what we owe or already paid that partner has to survive — otherwise deleting an account would erase somebody else's earnings.
- Qualifying-purchase recordsThe record that a purchase qualified for the partner programme, kept for the same reason.
- Subscription and billing event evidenceThe provider notifications behind a purchase, renewal or refund. These are the evidence behind money that moved.
- One-time-benefit and cohort markersMarkers recording that a launch or trial benefit was already used. Without them, deleting and recreating an account would claim a one-time benefit twice.
- Anti-abuse markersStored as one-way values or opaque identifiers, not as readable contact details. They exist so a closed account cannot be used to escape a limit.
- Partner and audit recordsRecords about our sales partners, and the audit trail of decisions an operator made, where keeping them remains necessary.
To be exact about what those records still contain: they hold the internal identifiers they were created with — an account id, a store id, a purchase reference — and those identifiers stop resolving to anything once the account is gone. They do not hold your name, your email address, your phone number or your password. Where a record exists purely to stop a benefit being claimed twice, it holds a one-way value rather than anything readable at all.
We do not publish a fixed retention period for these records because we have not set one, and stating a number we do not actually enforce would be worse than saying so plainly. If that changes, this page and the privacy policy will say what the period is before it takes effect.
Separately, Apple, Google and RevenueCat keep their own billing and transaction records under their own policies. We cannot delete those on your behalf — you would need to ask them.
Deleting your account is not the same as cancelling
Deleting your NegosyoKlaro account does not cancel a paid subscription, and it does not refund one. Subscriptions are billed by the app store you bought through, not by us, so they have to be cancelled there — and if you delete your account without cancelling, the store will keep charging you.
Cancel first, then delete.
- On iPhoneSettings → tap your name → Subscriptions → NegosyoKlaro → Cancel Subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple through its “Report a Problem” page.
- On AndroidGoogle Play Store → your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → NegosyoKlaro → Cancel subscription. Refunds are handled by Google Play.
We cannot cancel or refund a subscription for you, and deleting your account does not tell the store to stop billing.
